Bonnet
There are no louvers, nor screens, nor any other method of removing the hot air flow provided originally in either the bonnet top panels or the bonnet side panels.

The MK V was available with either the 2 ½ or 3 ½ litre push-rod engine, with the engine size on the emblem

The standard radiator cap has no provision for any decorative mascot or locking attachment. The Crosby leaping Jaguar mascot BD.6206 on the radiator cap is a factory accessory, not fitted on all cars. (PC)

Running Boards
Each running board has a chrome frame with a center chrome strip. | The rubber mat should have 1/8″ wide parallel ribs and channels. No fasteners should be visible. |
Both the Saloon and DHC have running boards that extend from the rear portion of the front fender to the rear fender.
Boot Lid
Both models have the same boot lid.

Petrol Filler/ Gas Cap Door
All MK V models have the same fuel tank door painted body color, with a rubber gasket around the opening.

The Spats or Fender Skirts should be straight along the bottom line, not cut out.
The chrome escutcheon for Wing Cover Lock cover is the leaf shaped cover, not the round toilet seat cover.
Painted Bumpers
The MK V does not have painted bumpers, but the decorative valence covers above the front and rear bumpers are body color.
Grilles
The MK V has a seventeen vane grille including a large center vane with a sliding access provision for a starting crank. There are no other air duct grills or any other grills.
